Piano Lesson
The Piano Performance program at UL- Lafayette develops artistry in the performance and interpretation of keyboard literature.  There are ample performance opportunities for students.  Studio masterclasses are held weekly, providing not only performance experience for students but a forum for the discussion of performance practices, technique, and keyboard literature.  The annual Frank Hanley/Friends of Music-Acadiana Piano Competition, the UL Orchestra Concerto Competition, and the MTNA Chamber Music Competition provide further opportunities for performance excellence and cash awards.

In addition to solo performance skills, students may participate in a wide variety of ensembles from accompanying and chamber music to large ensembles such as orchestra and wind ensemble.
